Tract Tuesday – part 1

October 5, 2010
by

Welcome to part 1 of our new epic mini-series “Tract Tuesday.” Each Tuesday we will take a look at a different religious tract in hopes that it will save our souls from damnation.

Today we learn about the “Birds and the Bees.” Well, not those birds and bees………the gay ones. Apparently, new laws have been passed or are being passed that require schools to bring gay couples in for show and tell. And if you disagree with that then it looks like you’re going to jail.

I don’t know about you, but I’m calling my congressman immediately and getting those gay show and tell laws revoked!

(Special thanks to the good people at Chick Publishing for all their hard work in putting this tract together.)

    So many thoughts…

1.) Those demons are kind of cute, and it’s sweet that even they seem to be in love in the 6th frame.

2.) For some reason it really cracks me up that he keeps capitalizing “the Gays.” Can’t explain why

3.) The Bible is not banned in school, and “Jesus talk” is not prohibited. Teachers are not allowed to lead a time of corporate prayer. That’s it.

4.) In the Sodom story, they left out the juicy little detail of Lot offering the mob his virgin daughters… wonder why?

5.) Regarding Sodom, they also seem to leave out the reason the Bible actually gives for it’s destruction from Ezekiel 16:49-50

6.) There are new laws requiring teachers to bring “the Gays” into the classrooms? Everyone panic!!

What I want to know is: where the lesbians at? No flannel-clad truck drivers to complement our mincing princes? I guess the ladies get a pass from ol’ Jack…

BTW – Aren’t this site’s hosts/contributors Youth Pastors? The “cute plush-like demons hovering around the sinners” visual concept presented here would make a great puppet show for the kids. Call it “My Pet Sin”. Learn about the seven deadly sins in a dramatic, relevant way! See it now…

Spotlight opens: Young man with a hairy monkey-looking thing drooling slime on his neck & shoulders. Beasts hands control the young man’s arms.

NARRATOR: Meet Jimmy and his pet demon, “Lustie”.

DEMON: C’mon Jimmy, let’s go surf the internet…”

Man, this idea practically writes itself!

No need to thank me. Just sowin’ seeds, man…
