Apparently The Good News Gang was able to talk Erik Estrada into making an appearance on their show back in the 80s(?). What’s even more incredible is what they got him to do.
Obviously a CHiPS parody was a no-brainer. So they went with LiPS because Peaches the Elephant had a crush on Mr. Estrada.
Since this was for a Christian children’s you might assume that Peaches and Erik would pull over a speeding motorist and help them find Jesus. Well, you would be wrong.
Instead, Peaches the Elephant spends this entire clip dry humping Mr. CHiPS while Estrada just sits back and enjoys the ride.
And he’s got the x-ray to prove it!
What’s even more amazing is the fact that CBS News thought that this was a story worth covering.
Brother Jed is a somewhat-known street preacher who loves to frequent the universities of our fine country to share the “Good News” with the heathen students. In an ever-changing culture, it seems that Jed realizes he has to mix up his repertoire to reel in the kids. So, how does he stay relevant to a generation growing up on High School Musical and Glee? You sing your message, of course!
Enjoy this Brother Jed Original, “It’s Not OK To Be Gay.”
….minus the beer of course.
We have to give some love to our alma mater Trevecca Nazarene University. When you live on a dry campus it can take a pretty decent amount of creativity to have a good time.
So kudos to these boys for some pretty amazing pong tossing skills.
Watch and be amazed.
We’re continuing the bad object lesson theme from the other day with what may just be the most awkward sermon we’ve ever seen.
Apparently the pastor was trying to make a point about wearing nice clothes not being what it means to give your best for Jesus. Fair enough, that’s a great point.
However, it all goes downhill from there. First he starts randomly spraying himself with water. No idea what that’s about.
Then he decides to jump into a kiddie pool mid sermon. It seems he thought he would take the “submerge yourself in Christ” thing literally.
What makes this so awkward is his attempt to be serious in the pool. We’re all about using humor in the church, but you can’t do something funny, then go uber-serious while you’re still doing it and start screaming at people. Oh yeah, and then pray while you’re still standing in the pool.
I never thought I would use this phrase, but I think this one definitely qualifies as an “epic fail.”
We love a good baptism blooper video. When 1 kid is so excited about his immersion that he cannonballs into the baptismal, it makes us feel warm and fuzzy.
This, however, it not necessarily one of those feel-good cute baptism blooper videos. This is one of those videos that makes you laugh for a much more immature reason.
Disclaimer: This video gets a little racy at the 1:20 mark and may not be suitable for all ages.
There’s nothing like a little terrorism humor to spread the gospel. After all, what’s funnier than suicide bombers?
Among the church terrorist cells listed in this video:
They are all led by “Lucifer Bin Working”.
Can we add another terrorist cell to the list?
How about: “Bin 30 years since that haircut was acceptable in public”
